    BABYPEDE

Babypedes are necromantic terrors of the first order. They appear to be centipedes formed from several human infants. Just seeing one of these abominations forces creatures to succeed at a saving throw or run screaming into the night, suffering 1d6 points of wisdom damage in the process. Creatures whose wisdom score drops to 1 or lower are stricken permanently insane (as the spell, insanity). Babypedes attack by winding themselves around their opponent's body. Their touch causes living flesh to rot on the bone, inflicting 1d4 points of damage and 1 point of strength, dexterity and constitution damage during each round they maintain their grapple.

Babypede: HD 4; AC 5 [14]; Atk 1 grapple (see below); Move 12 (Climb 12); Save 13; CL/XP 7/600; Special: Frightful appearance, rotting touch, magic resistance 10%.
